Complementary Studies - My First Rings

First day doing jewelry making today, and we were making a basic band ring using copper.

Although it looks simple the processes were vast, I used the rest of my time to create another ring using some scraps, this was an experimental piece, and allowed me to practice soldering, in particular the addition on top of the band.

The option after making the ring is to put it in a solution to make it 'shiny' again, but I like the rustic 'unpolished' look.

here is the gradual final product, from sketch to clean version and the adobe illustrator painted final piece.
